I have always liked to use found objects to create new things. They say necessity is the mother of invention but I think it's fun to improvise. Sure I could go to Ikea and buy it off the shelf but I prefer to make my own shelf out of things others consider worthless trash. For me, there's a sense of satisfaction by making something extraordinary from ordinary things. It's the weird stuff that's often wonderful. This is a good example of what I mean. Simply wonderful!
To my friends, I'm Siska. Originally from North Sumatra, I live in the food capital of Asia - Singapore. This place is a melting pot of people from all around the globe. The perfect environment for creativity and entrepreneurs. I like to visit far off lands, experience different culture, meet interesting people and learn everything that life has to offer. I soak it up like a big sponge, distill these influences through a process of osmosis and channel it into my passion for fashion and design, music, poetry and photography. I am Moccachíc.
I love seeing old items that would normally be thrown away made into something useful. That furniture is cool! Thanks for sharing it.
